Bored of Limitations.

Letterre you as bored of all the limitations in FARMTOWN, HALO and the hundreds of thousands of other modern games offer. The endless carrot on a stick game of leveling up... getting points and having nothing to show for your accomplishments. When was the last time you got a wild hair and drew up a new design of a sword, a gun or a building or race. Dreamed up a new character and wanted to discover how it would interact with others. Have you ever roleplayed for 24 hours straight with no pictures or sound effects whatsoever? Maybe you just found the right place for you. Right here on Fantasyrole... where the only limitation is your own imagination. Come together as a group of players and build your own world, tavern, universe... and interact with other players doing the exact same thing. The only boredom around here... gets regularly vanquished by giant tortilla monsters made of bellion gas.

Lettero help smooth things over, and to demonstrate that I'm not quite a vestigial mod yet (ask your parents), I think it might be helpful for people if we use tags in the titles of threads to give their status. I see this on pretty much every other site, so what the hell?

OPEN - Anybody can post, though you might want to run your ideas past someone first.

SEMI OPEN/CLOSED - Ask for permission first, but it is up for new people.

CLOSED - No touchy; it's someone's private thread unless they tell you that it's all good.

Hopefully, these can clear up any confusion and misunderstandings for everyone involved. Have a great time with RPs, and let me or any of the other mods know uf you need help. Voodoo summoning ritual remains optional.

Concerning Site Activity

by Unferth posted 09-Dec-2011

***
We've recently hit a waning in incoming members and thread activity. I know everyone is busy with their finals and the holidays, which is why I plan, starting January 1st, advertising the site. I encourage all of the fans to bring in friends, family, or fans to participate in an Roleplaying Event to REEL in more members.

More details will be provided soon, so stay tuned!

Thank you for participating in Fantasyrole.org

National Novel Writing Month

by The Silverlord posted 08-Nov-2011

Letterust a reminder that NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) is underway.

Can you write a novel in a month? If you needed an excuse to pick yourself up and get motivated, this just may be it.
