"Yeah once we find a place to camp. I've got to set up some gear to send out a signal from this dead zone." He gestured all around him. The sun set by now and he didn't enjoy walking in the dark anymore. "We need to camp." He whispered.

Amie frowned a little, looking at him, but slowly nodded. "Okay," she said quietly. She let him pick a spot and slowly sat down in the dirt.

Sam started a fire easily and set up some small electronics. He took out his OPSAT and uploaded some coordinates. He looked around the clean valley they had decided to settle in. "He'll get the message. We just have to wait." He said softly.

Amie nodded a little, pushing her hair out of her face again. "Okay," she said quietly. "I hope he can hurry."

Sam nodded. "He will. He has this way of...doing the unexpected over the top thing." He smirked. He rubbed his shoulder. "I'm going to put on my suit." He said, standing up. "I'll be back. And then we're taking care of those cuts." He pointed.

Amie sighed a bit but slowly nodded. "Okay," she repeated quietly. She slowly crossed her legs in front of her, staring at the fire he'd built as she listened to him walk away.

Sam shed his clothing and got completely naked. He slipped into his suit and adjusted the temperature to slightly above the temperature outside. He moved back and crouched down next to her, obviously looking sharp. He stuck a small flash light in his mouth and took out some gauze, and some antibacterial ointment. He gently took her arm and started patching her up.

Amie sat still, not saying a word as he worked at the grazes, three of them in total. "Thanks," she murmured when he finished. She slowly flexed her hand and smiled a bit at him. "Anything I could do for you?"

Sam smirked. "Well, I've got heat on my shoulder from my suit." He said softly. "Hopefully I'll be okay. It would have been a lot worse if it hadn't been for you the night before though."

Amie smiled a little and nodded. "That's good," she said quietly. She pulled her jacket back on, not exactly cold, but feeling the chill of the evening all the same.

Sam smiled. "If you get could you can snuggle next to me. My suit as a heater." He snorted a little.

Amy smiled a little at him. "Okay thanks," she murmured. "Fancy piece of tech, that." She nodded to him, meaning his suit.

"Fourteen thousand worth of fancy. Thanks for going back for it." He said softly.

Amie nodded a little. "Yeah not a problem," she said quietly.

Sam nodded slowly and sighed. He passed the water pack to her. "There's not much left. You can finish it.
