Ellyn nodded. "And not tonight." She said with a smile as well. "I understand. It is not a problem, but now you have my curiosity peaked. You certainly know what you're doing."

Malik chuckled. "Yes, well," he shrugged. "Mystery comes with the job."

"So I have come to learn." Ellyn answered with a smile. She kept dancing with him. Enjoying it. He was a good dancer and it was fun to hear about Altair. "I hope you will come for the wedding, I know that you work away from here."

Malik smiled and nodded. "I wouldn't miss it," he said softly. "But don't get your hopes up on something fancy. It'll probably be... like five of us..."

Ellyn nodded. "Oh. Well... I don't mind that." She smiled. "In England it's always something really fancy, but it's different here right?"

Malik shook his head. "Not really," he said. "For common folk. But for us... it would be dangerous if our enemies knew how much he cared for you."

Ellyn nodded, but frowned slightly. "I understand, but... your enemies don't know about me do they? I don't want him to be put in danger because of me."

Malik shook his head. "They don't know," he said, leaving out the part that it would be much more dangerous for her than Altair. He didn't want to scare her.

Ellyn nodded. "Good." She said as they danced. "I can't wait, Malik." She grinned after a while. "I... God, I love him so much." She laughed at how she was so excited.

Malik laughed, pulling her in a spin. "Well good," he said. "I'm sure we'll all worship you for that, since you'll have sway over him."

Ellyn laughed. "Sway." She said. "No, I think he will do whatever he wants regardless if I tell him not too." She said remembering that fire she had seen

"Ah but you'll have a bit of pull," Malik pointed out. "He'll want to see you happy."

Ellyn shook her head. "Happy or no his work is important. " She understood. "If it comes down to it, I know that me not being happy about something won't matter as much."

Malik studied her for a long moment. "Wow," he said quietly as the song ended. "You're... much too perfect for him..."

Ellyn laughed and bowed slightly from the song. "Thank you." she smiled at him. "I don't want to be perfect though. Don't make me out as this perfect person at all."
