Wolfe eyed her carefully. "Fine. We'll get another room." He said finally after a long pause. "But that means you have to stay, alright? You get your money, I get my prize. That's the deal." He quickly scrawled out a note for the man in the bed, saying they were in another room. To meet them in the tavern downstairs the next morning. "Come on." He muttered and walked out.
He got them another room, two beds in it and walked with Ivi up to it.

Ivi smirked, sitting down on the bed closest to the window and stretching. "Night then," she said lightly.

Wolfe nodded and took his shirt off, throwing it to the ground. "Yeah." He said and shook his head. "You know, you are one seriously tricky woman. No way do I ever pay for a room... especially one with two beds." He sat onto his bed and started taking off his boots.

The next morning Valamer was wolfing down his third plate of breakfast. He told the waiter to keep it coming.
She had no problem. He paid a silver extra for every plate.
He his in his cloak mostly. It didn't have a hood, so it was more like a dark black cape, but it worked.
He shovled eggs into his mouth like he was starving, drizzling everything with sweet syrup to help with his energy stores.

Wolfe walked down the stairs with Ivi and spotted the man sitting at the table and wolfing down his food. He glanced over at Ivi and then walked towards him. "Good morning." He said.

Ivi frowned, not happy about any of this. But she followed along all the same, and ordered a pastry and tea from the waitress when she came over.

Valamer looked up and swallowed. "I apologize for my piggish behavior. It takes a lot of energy to sustain blood flow. I can't help but analyize this situation...its the scholar in me. Now if you do not mind I would like to stop by my place to pick up a few things."

Wolfe shrugged. "Fine." She said and ordered a coffee and some toast. "Now tell me... what exactly are we doing to help you in your... venture to cure yourself from this curse." He said, remembering what the man had said the night before.

Ivi ate quietly. She would let Wolfe be in charge for now, but after a moment, she added, "And how much are you paying us for this?"

Valamer smiled slightly at both of them. "I need these Tristones. They are stones with magical powers, hidden all around the world in the most unaccessable places imaginable. But. There is a key." He gestured to his arm. "I can open all the doors, of course. But I'm not much of a fighter, or an adventurer. And of course...payment will be handsome. Fifty plat per Tristone. There are four left."

Wolfe nodded. That was a fair price. "So there's danger involved." He said and smirked. "And of course our payment. What about this curse? Is there any way it could hurt one of us?" He glanced to the claw that the man was hiding.

Ivi's eyes lit up at the mention of platinum. Even split... that was one hundred for each of them. That was a thousand gold pieces! She hardly heard the question about the curse.

"Absolutely not." Valamer said. "the only damage it does is passive. I apologize for the blood on your face last night." He frowned. "Really there isn't much of a danger if we do this quickly."

Wolfe nodded and finished his breakfast quickly. "Alright then." He said and looked to the man. "The name's Wolfe." He thought it might be good to at least know the name of his employer.

"Ivi," the young thief supplied around the last bite of her pastry. "Breakfast is on you, right?"
