Reven frowned. "I'm just wondering. Do you think you died a long time ago? With your original family?" she asked. "How can you live on and move on?

Faust glanced at her. "There's nothing else to do," he said quietly. "Well, except spend a couple decades rotting in taverns. But when even that doesn't kill you." He shrugged.

Reven nodded slowly and sigghed. "I'm sorry.... I can't imagine what you're going through."

Faust glanced at her and shrugged again. "Kind of used to it," he said quietly. "Getting there anyways."

Reven frowned. "Yeah." She whispered softly. "I'm honored that you would...take the time to love me."

Faust glanced at her and smiled a bit. He pulled her to a stop and kissed her softly. "It's not like I had to try that hard," he murmured.

Reven smiled and hugged him. "You're a great immortal being. And you've been with only two others....you saved my life and you protect me..." She whispered.

Faust shrugged a little bit, but he hugged her back. "Couldn't help it," he said lightly, teasing a little. "You are really pretty, after all."

Reven shook her head. "No. You fight your demon everyday. And you fight it for me." She said, hugging tighter. "Thank you."

Faust chuckled and shook his head. She didn't get it but... whatever. He hugged her back and kissed her cheek. "Let's keep going," he murmured.

Reven nodded and walked beside him, hugging him from the side and staying close. She knew that he was the demon....that Zack and him were one. Yet he still chose compassion....

Faust smiled at her a little, walking along. "Hey... will you do me a favor?" he asked quietly. "When we get there?"

Reven nodded slowly and looked over. "Of course. Anything." she said softly. "what it is?"

Faust gave her a gentle squeeze. "Will you stay in the town for me?" he asked quietly. "When I go to fix this?"

Reven licked her lips and looked down. Originally her answer would be no....but now, it was a resounding.
"Yes....okay." She said softly.
