Ataline nodded and slipped into the blankets once he was gone. She closed her eyes and quickly went to sleep.

Dyre had all ready started moving the car at sunrise, taking it slow. They had turned around a bit in the night, but now they were heading back toward the mountains. He had covered Ataline up with more blankets, the morning chill staying longer.

Ataline shifted as the wagon started moving and she slowly opened her eyes, looking around. She sat up, relieved, at least, to see Dyre driving. She rubbed her eyes for a moment before crawling up to the driving bench with him. "Morning," she murmured.

"Hey." Dyre said, handing her some toast. He smiled back at her and winked. "Made you breakfast. Not exactly breakfast in bed, but."

Ataline smiled at him and took the toast. "It's good enough," she said softly. "Thank you."

Dyre nodded slowly and smiled. "Well, it's the least I could have done, but we're behind all ready." He said. "By a half day." He sighed and shrugged. "We'll make up for it."

Ataline nodded slowly. "Did we really get that far off track last night?" she asked softly.

Dyre smirked and nodded. "We went completely east." He said slowly. "It's hard to tell in the dark. With Ivi gone and the horeses pulling."

Ataline nodded. "Makes sense," she said quietly. "Well, at least we're not on a time schedule, or something like that."

Dyre nodded slowly and smiled. "I suppose we arn't." He said slowly. He sighed. "We have yet to have a moment to ourselves, though." He murmured.

Ataline shrugged a little. "It is dangerous, being on the road," she said quietly. "Maybe we'll find another little town."

Dyre nodded slowly and sighed. "You're right." He said softly looking up to the mountains. "Maybe some day."

Ataline glanced at him. "You alright?" she asked softly, studying him and noting the second sigh.

Dyre looked over. "I'm getting tired." He said softly. 'Of traveling. I've never been this far from the city for so long before." He added. "A bit of me misses the stone and brick."

Ataline smiled a bit. "Well if it makes you feel better, I'll bet you our soon to be dragon friend will be living in a cave of some kind."
