Jamie smiled a little. "We're not together," she said calmly, in her very 'secretary, must be nice to people' tone. "Just killing some time before our business trip. Thanks though."

The man smiled and nodded before he walked away. Lars licked his lips. "Are you sure?" He asked. "I mean engagement rings on sale? You can pick one out and wear it on another finger. I mean a sale! Jared never has sales."

Jamie snorted a little, shaking her head a bit. "I guess you could get one," she said. "For when you find someone you maybe wanna marry."

Lars sighed a little. "Well..." he said slowly. "This is about you so. You can make that decision."

Jamie sighed a little, shaking her head. "I am not getting an engagement ring," she said, quietly but firmly. She turned to look at some necklaces laid out under one counter.

Lars frowned a little. "I didn't mean anything by it." He said softly. "Sorry."

Jamie shook her head a little, letting out a quiet breath. "It's fine," she said quietly. She slowly walked along the counter, looking over everything. She really wasn't in the mood to buy any jewelry though. Not now.

Lars looked with her. "What about that one?" he asked. "Kind of looks like you. Simple yet elegant."

Jamie glanced over at it and shrugged a little. "It's pretty," she agreed quietly.

Lars nodded. "Not your thing? Okay okay. I'll keep looking." He said, moving away a bit.

Jamie took a quiet breath as he moved off, closing her eyes for a moment. She needed to chill. She'd never make it through this trip like this. Just let him buy you a stupid piece of jewelry, make him happy, get out of here and to the airport.
She looked around again and walked over to the bracelets. Something like that she'd be able to wear a lot.

Lars looked in all the cases, but he rounded around to her and smiled. "Bracelots?"

Jamie glanced at him and nodded a bit. "I already... have a necklace I wear every day so." She shrugged a little and gestured to the bracelets. "I always liked these ones... the ones you can customize and keep adding on to."

"Oh wow, yeah." He said lightly. "That's gorgeous. What do you want to add?"

Jamie glanced at him and shrugged a little. "I dunno," she said quietly. "Maybe just some colored ones, for now..."
