Teron laughed a little, shaking his head. "I think you underestimate your... owl-ness," he teased.

Daaj sighed. "I do believe you butchered my metaphor. I can't believe it when you say that, however."

Teron laughed a little, shaking his head. "Well fine, think what you want," he said calmly. "But you are the one sharing her bed." He nodded to him. "So. What's for dinner?"

"I am not..exactly..." Daaj sighed, surrendering. "I suspect stew, but i do not know yet." He turned to prepare a meal.

Teron tilted his head from side to side. "Oh come on," he said. "Let's have something more... more. We'll be having stew on the road most likely. Let's have something exciting. And filling and satisfying."

Daaj sighed. "I don't think I'm up for cooking at the moment." He admitted. "But what did you have in mind, Teron?"

Teron smiled a little. "I could run to the market," he said. "Grab some things. I can cook too you know."

Daaj smiled. "You know that would be a rather big help. All my spices are packed away anyway." He said softly.

Teron smiled a bit and nodded. "Alright then," he said lightly. "I'll be back soon then." He calmly walked out of the hut and down the street.

Daaj nodded slowly and started to prepare for when he got back. Teron's words rang with him though. Perhaps this was going to be good for him. But sometimes it wasnt just about...him. It was about other people and what a woman could distract him from.

Teron returned a little while later with a sack of food. He flashed Daaj a smile, but simply got right to work.

"Anything I can help with?" He asked softly. "I need something to do." He admitted softly.

Teron glanced around. "Yeah," he said slowly. "There's potatoes in the bag. You wanna chop 'em up for me?"

Daaj nodded, taking the potatos and starting on chopping them as he had said. "So what is your plan?"

Teron smirked. "I've got some chickens to roast and we're going to mash up those potatoes and have some greens," he said lightly.
