Daaj blinked, surprised. "That sounds expensive, Teron. I hope it wasn't too much."

Teron waved away his concern. "Money's just money, my friend," he said lightly. "There'll always be more of it."

Daaj chuckled a little. "For you, I would imagine." He said softly. He started making mashed potatoes easily.

Teron smiled easily and prepared the chickens, easily putting them over the fire to cook. "Oh your sister said she'd be by too, just so you know."

"Good..." He sighed softly. "Good. How did it go with her? Did you talk to her?"

Teron nodded calmly. "Of course," he said. "Everything went fine.'

"Good good. I was afraid you'd come back in pieces." He chuckled.

Teron snorted. "She seems to like me better than you do most days," he murmured, teasing.

Daaj glanced over. "Interesting." he said softly. "She usually doesn't get along with most anyone."

Teron stuck his tongue out at him. "Told you I was special."

Daaj shook his head. "I would...really be careful Teron." He whispered. "We still have genie in us and not all of us have learned to quell it."

Teron sighed a little, moving to wash the vegetables he'd gotten. "And we're back to you thinking I'm a wild dog," he murmured.

"No, no not you." Daaj put his hand up. "I'm warning you against my sister." He whispered. "There have been...others."

Teron shrugged a little. "Same with most girls," he said. "And I was saying I wasn't planning on pursuing her, Daaj."

Daaj sighed. "It might not be your choice in the future." He said slowly. "A genie can be rather persuasive..." He sighed.
