| Racial Name | Gormecs/Deysuls, usually referred to as Go-Dey. |
| Overview | An odd race as genetically speaking the females and males of this race are two seperate species. Main Enemy of almost all other races. |
| Biological Analysis | The females (Gormecs) are radically different in make up from the males (Deysuls). The males are insectoid in appearance with 8 limbs, and 3 eyes upon their forehead. Their bodies are covered in chitiness plating. Females on the other hand, are more amphibian in nature, being short and usually fat in appearance, with 6 limbs, and 5 eyes circling their head. Their mouths are wide with no teeth, as opposed to the males who have pincers. They have specific environmental requirements that makes them unable to survive in earth-like atmospheres. |
| Sociological Analysis | The Race as a whole is barbaric and is a single great Empire, ruled by a Matriarchy. This Empire poses the greatest threat to the known Civilizations, as they are driven by bloodlust and domination. Many wars have been fought between them and the other races, though the Go-Dey (common slang term for them), have rarely won, their technology being rudimentary. Despite this, they are suspected to outnumber even humankind, though there is no proof of this except limitless cannon fodder. |
| Historical Analysis | Little information about their history is forthcoming, though it is common knowledge that they have been at war with the Cathwin for much longer than the other races. Before they were unified into the Empire they are now, the Go-Dey were made up of hundreds of tribes and bands that constantly fought among themselves and were of little threat to the galaxy. It is believed that through assassination and propaganda one of the tribal matriarchs unified the tribes and turned their destructive power onto the other races of the galaxy. |
| Technological Analysis | Despite having relatively weak technology compared to the Cathwin and even humanity, they do have one weapon that is unique among all races; its technology has yet been duplicated. This weapon is quite large, requiring a ship a hundred kilometers in diameter. When fired, it incinerates a planet’s atmosphere, and actually breaks down the organic and inorganic molecules of the planet into the individual atoms which are then brought on board the ship. This is how the Go-Dey harvest supplies and food. |
