| About Me | I have been long absent, and I have missed RP. I hate to be childish and petty, but Yahoo pissed me off by closing the member rooms and therefore closing my own tavern down. I tried to hold on to it like an old lady resuscitating her last loved dying cat, and finally had to give into the idea that it was dead. Well.. it wasn't yahoo that killed it. I did. I made the storylines too exclusive. Mind you they were deep, good storylines, but there simply was not room for anyone else to join. I am sorry for that. I love roleplaying, and have recently stepped away from it for a year. Maybe someday I'll dust off the Cliffside Tavern, and bring life into that old setting, but for now, I'll just sit here and watch the grass grow on the planes around the tavern, and continue letting the first post formulate. Many people loved the Cliffside Tavern group, including myself. 10 years is a long time to invest in something to just throw it away. While the Cliffside Tavern can never be what it was, it can certainly be something again. That was the point of the Cliffside anyway. Evolution through roleplay. Give it time. Give me time. Meanwhile, I am rejoining Night Everlasting again. Another of my groups that I let set on a shelf to collect dust. Kudos to you that blew the dust off and found life in our fantasy version of New Orleans. I'm glad to join you. To those of you that have held on, sticking with it and keeping things together and progressing. Don, Jupy, Jack, and Tobias, I hope you'll have me back. |
